Today, there is an abundance of penis enlargement ads everywhere you look and even if you haven’t considered it yourself, you have probably been curious about how these enlargement methods really work.

Most men who seek out penis enlargement treatments don’t really need it. Too many men believe they are too small when in actual fact their penis is a perfectly normal size. You do also get men who know their penis is a normal size but would still like to enlarge it.

Society’s obsession with penis size has led to countless pills, creams, products and supplements popping up in the market but how many of these treatments really work?

A closer look at penis enlargement treatments

Below we will look at a few of the most common penis enlargement treatments available today:

Penis extenders

Penis extenders have been around for a good couple years now, with the ‘traction method’ showing the most positive results. This method has shown to produce an average growth of 1.7 cm but requires users to place the penis in an extender that stretches it on a daily basis.

Even though this method wasn’t particularly dangerous, it does require users to use the device for 4 to 6 hours every day for at least 4 months.

Penis exercises

There are a number of penis exercises out there that claim to add centimetres to your penis if you’re dedicated and consistent enough.

It’s recommended that these exercises be performed for at least an hour, 5 days a week for at least 6 months. An hour is the recommended time because it gives the cells enough time to heal.

Jelqing is one of the most common exercises and requires men to tug the base of a semi-erect penis in order to cut off the blood flow, allowing the cells of the penis to fill with blood. Men should then move their hands upwards in order to milk the blood into the penis shaft, filling even more cells with blood.

Penis surgery

Penis enlargement surgery is bar one of the safest and most effective enlargement methods. Patients can choose from one of two types of surgery: lengthening and widening.

During lengthening surgery, the sensory ligament that attaches the penis to the pelvic bone is cut, which helps lengthen the penis. Widening surgery uses silicone or tissue grafts to help the penis look thicker.

Pills

While there are many penis enlargement pills on the market that are complete scams, there are also a few that use natural, plant-based ingredients that do make a difference.

Penis enlargement pills are meant to gradually increase the blood flow to certain chambers in the penis in order to enlarge them. The only problem with many of these pills is that they need to be taken while the penis is erect in order for them to take effect.

Patches

Penis enlargement patches are fairly new and claim to offer the same effects as pills. The patches are lined with supplements that are absorbed through the skin and worked into the bloodstream in order to take effect.

Pumps

This is another product that has been around for quite some time and uses a vacuum to draw more blood into the penis for a short period of time. These men are actually designed for men with erectile dysfunction more than men with small penises.
